not IF but WHEN

Greetings Friends,

After 8 weeks of serving on various mission projects, Joey is excited to take a hiatus and enjoy some much needed time with his 5 granddaughters in Florida.

Please continue to pray for Joey as he is still recovering from being rear ended back in February. He’s had doctors appointments this week in Atlanta which meant he also got to make memories with his sweet grandson, Titus. Finally, he and Cathy celebrated 44 blessed years this week! 🥳

Our time in Roatan Island last week was very emotional. All of the children we currently document for you are from Roatan, so it is always a highly anticipated time to see them firsthand and witness how they are doing.

Most of you will remember the Roatan Five siblings whom we rescued from their trafficking parents.

These kids are truly excelling - in school, church, even healing! Click here to see for yourself!

Read their full story on our website.

Many of you will recognize another one of our closely followed children: Nyail. Nyail is doing as well as possible. Through a chosen neighbor, we ensure Nyail is fed at least twice daily and transported to and from school. He will finish his grade in school this year!

Please continue to pray for a better home situation for Nyail and his community who currently reside above sewer residue.

We regret to share that sweet baby Taylor is doing just as poorly as he was the last time we visited him, if not, worse.

Taylor lives in extreme conditions. His home has little to no food, no electricity, and his mother and grandmother leave him for hours at a time.

Taylor is now walking on his ankles. We have two videos we want to share to expose the gravity of his situation and invite you to pray all the more for his condition and circumstances. These videos are incredibly uncomfortable to watch.

Please be warned, watching these videos may be disturbing to some people.

We at JPM are believing and having faith in not IF but WHEN Taylor is freed from his mother and his environment. You will hear in the video Joey asking Taylor’s mother if we can care for him for a year and she ignores him. We can plainly see she is using him for sympathy when they beg for money and food.

We are encouraged; however, when we remember the story of the Roatan Five. It was just under a year after meeting those kids that they were all five freed from a life of trafficking.

God, we know you’re here and we know you’re moving.

God, you promised to take care of all of our needs. We are asking you to remember your child, Taylor! Meet his every need. Work everything together for his good.

Finally, during our time in Roatan, we moved large amounts of food through the island. We are currently networking to streamline this process and find the best way to purchase and distribute food to our children on the island. We witnessed people scouring the island for food, reptiles, animals, anything they could consume.

Please continue to pray over this country and our efforts here.

We wanted to give a big shoutout to the different Indiana Sewing Ministriesthat support JPM; namely Sewing Seams of Hope & Stitches of Joy! We were able to share stories and photos of our work and they embrace that by sewing clothes and outfits for our children!

Thank you friends; we so appreciate all you do.

Joey has asked that we continue to pray specifically about a vehicle for JPM. We are looking for a 2016-2020 SUV. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer.

YouTube: We are working diligently to upload videos of our missions and the progress of our children. Please subscribe to our YouTube channel as this helps spread the news of our work to people who have not heard of us. Thank you!

We have asked for many prayers and we want to end by offering our prayers for you! Please respond with your requests and praises. How we love to partner with you in prayer!

As always, more to come!

Joey & Cathy
