Thank you for your continued partnership and prayers for Joey Potter Missions. We are grateful for God’s faithfulness and for the ways Jesus opens doors for JPM to rescue and sponsor children in need. Our work to rescue children and to provide clean water for families is challenging and often frustrating but your support sustains us.
This week JPM and Ray of Hope finally positioned our drilling rig on the 3 acre farm near Maasai land in Naserian. The rig is on schedule to complete the well by the time our team arrives on April 6 and 7. I am eager to rescue more girls and boys from slavery and trafficking and to connect them with loving sponsors who will walk with them into a new life of hope.
Shortly after the rig arrived I received a photo that cut straight to my heart: a young boy drinking filthy water from a nearby pond. It was not juice or soda but dangerous contaminated water that this community has had to rely on. Seeing that image filled me with sorrow and resolve as though it were my own grandchild drinking that poison. Please join me in prayer for this boy and for every child and family who still lacks clean water.

Pray with us: Ask God to open the way for clean safe water for every family in this region and for the release and protection of children trapped in slavery and trafficking. Pray for strength and safety for our team as we carry out this work.

We believe the enemy seeks to steal our joy and hope but our faith in Jesus holds firm. As Easter approaches we celebrate Christ’s sacrifice and victory. Jesus is the Living Water who promises we will never thirst again. I plan to find the boy in that photo give him a bottle of clean water from the new well and share the Good News with him.
