Drill A Well

Why wells?

Drilling a well makes the greatest long term, self sustaining impact on the communities we reach.

The installation of a well inevitably:

  • prompts celebration

  • draws in communities

  • the families of those communities will plant, build and establish their lives within 1 mile of the well

  • with steady access to water, they have security and cleanliness which increases their self esteem

  • we’ve seen leaders rise up from among their people

  • we’ve seen churches rise up out of this newfound lifestyle

Massai People, Kenya, Africa, October 2022

Joey writes, "One of the greatest joys of my life was watching the Massai Children touch, smell, & taste the water coming from the well during the ceremony of the opening of that new well."

What does it take?

Drilling a well is a massive undertaking; however, God has richly blessed JPM with wonderful partners, contacts and collaborators to miraculously build wells!

The cost to drill a well varies greatly depending on the country we are drilling in as well as how deep we must dig in order to get to clean water.
